Mauricio focuses on capturing human emotion through compelling portraits, street photography, and passing moments.

As a native New Yorker born in Ecuador and raised in Queens, Mauricio's childhood was immersed in the cultural tapestry around him. Mauricio picked up a camera in high school. Ever since, his eye has been drawn to life set in the backdrop of an urban metropolis. ​

Mauricio has over a decade in a career in advertising that exposed him to seasoned creatives and lent inspiration. Much of his creativity has come to life with brands such as UNICEF, Estee Lauder, Ford Automotive, and more.
